Workforce Solutions of West Central Texas announced in a news release Thursday that it is once again providing in-person services to people seeking employment, several months after the COVID-19 pandemic forced its Big Country offices to close to the public. Appointments will be required for all in-person services, and virtual services are still available.
The Abilene Workforce Center in the Enterprise Building is accepting appointments for services from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays through Fridays. Appointments to the Brownwood and Sweetwater centers can be scheduled for Tuesdays and Thursdays, while services at the Snyder center can be scheduled for Mondays and Wednesdays.
Appointments can be made at wfswct.org or by calling 325-795-4200 or 800-457-5633.
The use of face masks will be encouraged, and can be provided to customers on request.
